The idea is to share the filter across DevTools Toolboxes / Firefox tabs and perhaps also persist across Firefox sessions.

I would go one further to suggest you could have a set of saved filters (i.e. maybe you regularly are checking for just 500's or, in my case, need to filter out some regular collection of calls with multiple filters to see thru the noise).

This is supported in Chrome and would be really nice if Firefox supported it as well.

Just adding my 2c, but shouldn't this be persisted per-domain if possible? It feels as a developer like I'm going to constantly be juggling between filtering rules between various websites I test.
