User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021127
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021127

I here include two picture, once showing the rendering of the example linked
from the mozilla/mathml home page without xft and once with xft. I have
installed both Mathematica and TeX fonts as TTF and Type1.
The version used is 1.2 in both.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open http://numexp.sourceforge.net/modules/gsl.xml in mozilla without xft
2. Open http://numexp.sourceforge.net/modules/gsl.xml in mozilla with xft
3. Compare

Actual Results:
Without xft the result is ugly but correct
With xft the result is nice but completely wrong.
The integrals are too small, the + and - operators are shifted
and the square roots are wrong.

Are these problems expected to be fixed any time soon? If there is
a fix, it would be nice if there were a comprehensive FAQ about it.
I would very much like to have good mathml support in Mozilla, because
we are developing an online math course.
You write "again" in the summary..: Do you mean that this is a regression and
used to work fine? Sinec it seems to be an open and unresolved issue: Resolving
as dup of bug 128153.
