Environment:
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 116.0a1 (2023-06-06) (64-bit)
Preconditions:
Clean profile
Steps to reproduce:
- Navigate to: https://weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/l/8d8ffaae7a093388e71a59e7113b3a9fe73e6b7fca20d60c25754bc7cc260397
- Scroll the page.
- Observe the "Radar" section.
Expected Behavior:
The page performs as expected.
Actual Behavior:
An increase in resource usage (CPU and Memory) is observed.
Notes:
- Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
- Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
- Works as expected using Chrome.
- Reproducible for other sections of the page that have the "Radar" feature.

Verified this issue and could not reproduce it on Firefox versions 122 and 124.
Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Release 122.0 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 124.0a1 (2024-01-27) (64-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
