Steps to reproduce:
On one of my Windows 10 based PC, Mozilla Firefox x64 web browser automatically update itself from v113.02 to its newest v114.0, officially released on June 06, 2023.
I am often use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on this of my PC (its so-called Continuous release, 32-bit version, presently v2023.003.20201), and it also comes with installed Adobe Acrobat extension (I have newest available v18.0.10) in my Mozilla Firefox Web browser (installed from here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Browser\WCFirefoxExtn\WebExtn\signed_extn\adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi).
But, since my Mozilla Firefox update itself to v114.0, every time when I am trying to convert any web page to a PDF file format with the Adobe Acrobat extension in my Mozilla Firefox web browser, it just says "Conversion failure". :(
I even try to test all this one more time on 2nd computer: before Mozilla Firefox web browser update itself to a newest available v114.0, the Adobe Acrobat extension converts web pages to a PDF file format just fine and successful.
But, as soon Mozilla Firefox web browser update itself even here on this 2nd computer to the newest available v114.0, the Adobe Acrobat extension starts to report "Conversion failure" on simply all web pages which I try to convert to a PDF file format! :(
I also restart my PC after all this and try described PDF conversion a few more times but without any positive result, and I even check that the Adobe Acrobat extension has all the necessary approves to work correctly in a Mozilla Firefox web browser.
So, I presume on this pattern that this is a Mozilla Firefox v14.0 new Bug, which I am just reporting to you now here, with a hope that it will be fixed.
Thank you for any help and advice and best regards!
Actual results:
Mozilla Firefox v114.0 broke the Adobe Acrobat extension... :(
Expected results:
Adobe Acrobat extension in Mozilla Firefox Web browser should convert almost any web page worldwide to a PDF file format.
But, since Mozilla Firefox update itself to a newest v114.0, this PDF file conversion does not happening at all anymore, it just report "Conversion failure" note.
It also do not let me to engage the Adobe Acrobat extension button anymore and see the "Preferences" at all here.
So it is definitely an Adobe Acrobat extension broke. :(

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'WebExtensions::Untriaged' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello,
After some research I found out that Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is the free version of the software, comes bundled with the Adobe Acrobat extension as well, since the software you have installed (Adobe Acrobat Pro DC) comes with a subscription fee and we cannot test that unfortunately.
However, after installing the free software and sifting through the installation folder where the extension should be located, I noticed that the extension it comes bundled with is for Chrome and not Firefox. It might be that only the paid version comes with the Firefox extension and as such we hit a block.
Note that I do not have Chrome installed and I downloaded and installed Adobe Reader from Firefox (which is also set as my default browser).
Any chance you could locate the extension in the Adobe Acrobat installation folder and attach it here so I can check it out? Thank you !

I suspect that this is either bug 1837830 or bug 1835790.

Could you also share the com.adobe.acrobat.firefox_webcapture.json file?
If you can't find the file, use regedit
to look up the value in one of these locations:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\NativeMessagingHosts\com.adobe.acrobat.firefox_webcapture
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Mozilla\NativeMessagingHosts\com.adobe.acrobat.firefox_webcapture
The format is documented at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/Native_manifests#windows
I apologize for waiting, I was for a few days out of computer access...
So, on my first post here you have now the "adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi" file attached, (C) Copyright by Adobe Corp. respectively.
This "adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi" file is installed by default the moment you install the Adobe Acrobat Pro (previously known as Adobe Acrobat DC), and this "adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi" file is located by default via this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Browser\WCFirefoxExtn\WebExtn\signed_extn\adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi
In the past, the moment you install Adobe Acrobat Pro software, the Adobe Acrobat Extension was automatically and by default installed in Mozilla Firefox web browser, and you can just use it instantly.
But in last 2-3 years, after you install the Adobe Acrobat Pro software, the only way to be able to install the Adobe Acrobat Extension via Mozilla Firefox web browser, you need to do it completely manually!
So, you will then need to open Mozilla Firefox web browser, go to Tools -> Add-ons and themes -> Tools for all add-ons grey colored bevel -> Install Add-on from file..., then pinpoint to above given folder, to the "adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi" extension file.
Then you need to allow this "adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi" extension file to work in Mozilla Firefox Web browser, possibly if you wish also in Private Browsing, and at the end, also optionally go to Tools -> Add-ons and themes -> Adobe Acrobat extension -> Three dots -> Options, and from here remove the check-mark for "Allow Adobe Acrobat for Firefox to send anonymous usage information to Adobe for product improvement purposes.", and then press a few times the "Save" button to finally accept this of your decision here.
To finish this all up, you just then need to go to press your "Extension" button via Mozilla Firefox web browser upper bar, and pin the Adobe Acrobat Extension onto that bar also, that you have it simply on site, all the time when needed...
In addition to add, my Adobe Acrobat Pro is in this very moment an up-to-date v2023.003.20201:
https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html
The Adobe Acrobat Pro you can download and Trial test from here:
https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/acrobat-pro.html
https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/free-trial-download.html
... This is a software that millions of people use Worldwide everyday for at least two decades by now, for their both personal and business work, and I know that soon I will not certainly be the only one here that will "cry" for fixing this bug quickly. :)
I am just figuring, that people still did not yet discover and put two by two together, that Mozilla Firefox v114.0 update actually produce the culprit problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro Extension here, so they are still not complaining to you in a large numbers, so it is only me here for now. :)
And finally, this "adobe_acrobat-1.0-windows.xpi" file which I am sending you right now it is the newest available v18.0.10, with the size of 462KB and with this hashes, if also someone will need that here:
CRC32: 71A353BD
MD5: 2E1DAC9E16A8EEE31BC705C6C9052147
SHA-1: EB6E50F18E445C922B46D0CA9C3E309BCE9BD798
SHA-256: 55CBC215E839D5BF130D977C835762CD2B8E8B2395F77DB8346C4155B269A0B7
SHA-512: BE9ECD0B02DFD4A5DB650921B68E4896EA2B8EFF114B3CADE109F7F85553F4B1524B35ED5A80C0829AF784075553D4F3CC400660703C568CBE757B7692C7983A
P.S. The Adobe Acrobat Pro/DC Extension for Google Chrome web browser is I think by default located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Browser\WCChromeExtn\WCChromeNativeMessagingHost.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\Browser\WCChromeExtn\manifest.json
And if you further need that both files also, I am free and open to upload them later and by your request, because, since I do not use Google Chrome web browser at all, I am not certain if this Adobe Acrobat Extension also have a bug right now even in Google Chrome web browser, not to mentioned in Microsoft Edge Web browser, etc...
Thank you once more for help and best regards!
