Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select more than one mail in IMAP "sent-mail" folder
2. move them to local folder

Actual Results:  
nothing. 

Expected Results:  
move them to local folder.

I select one Mail in folder "sent-mail" (IMAP, not standard sent mail folder).
Chose "Move to" -> "Local" -> "sent". It works

I select more than one Mail in folder "sent-mail" (IMAP, not standard sent mail
folder). Chose "Move to" -> "Local" -> "sent". It won´t work. 

I select more than one Mail in folder "Inbox" (IMAP). Chose "Move to" -> "Local"
-> "Inbox". It works.

what about destination folders other than inbox or sent? Have you tried clicking
on the local sent folder first, then going back to IMAP sent-mail folder and
moving again? Or, have you tried a more recent 1.3a trunk build? What kind of
imap server are you using?

OK... with the latest nightly build (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1;
en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021205) it works... I remember that it worked also in an
earlier version of Mozilla... 1.0 I think, but not sure...

Version 1.2.1:

I now also tried to click first on the local sent and then move the emails...
but doesn't work. 

And... I tried also other folders. Only moving files from IMAP-INBOX to Local
Folders works. Any other folder multiple mail move won't. 

I don't now what kind of IMAP Server they have on cevinet.ch... If you really
like to know I will ask them.

Is this a duplicate of bug 175456?  also i can confirm the same behavior on
recent linux builds.  i can also add that once a multiple mail message move from
an imap inbox/directory to a local folder (inbox or otherwise) all subsquent
mail message moves fail.

Lee, can you say what the latest build you tried was? It's apparently working
for the reporter. I fixed a bug like this for cyrus servers.

created new profile.

attempted to move one message from IMAP server to local folder.  message moved
as expected.  

attempted to "undo" the message move by ctl-z.  mozilla completely exits without
comment, this behavior is not expected or welcomed.

restart mozilla.  attempted to move multiple IMAP messages to local folder. 
messages were not moved to local folder as expected, and in addition, all
subsequent attempts to move a single message fails (where it does work as
expected as described above before attempting to "undo" the message move).

can we change op_sys on this bug as applying to linux OS?

additional build parameters include
ac_add_options --disable-tests
ac_add_options --disable-debug
ac_add_options --enable-optimize=-O3
ac_add_options --with-extensions=default,irc
ac_add_options --enable-crypto
ac_add_options --enable-mathml

this bug is "unresolved" for me, and would welcome any instruction to configure
mozilla to where moving IMAP messages would behave as expected.

using commercial 
2002-12-10-08-trunk on XP
2002-12-10-05-trunk on linux 2.2
2002-12-10-03-trunk on Mac 10.1.5

verified that moving/copying/drag&drop mesgs from imap
to Local Folders or a Pop Mail acccount works as expected.
No problem. Tried single and multiple mesgs from inbox, sent,
other imap folders and no problems encountered.

Also tried news mesgs to Local Folder and no problems with that either.


Note: I never saw this problem on windows or Mac builds. Just linux.
But verified on all platforms.
