User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/114.0
Steps to reproduce:
I have a long list of bookmarks, about 30 or so. I just click on Bookmarks on the menu to open the bookmarks list, and I scroll down to the end of the list.
Actual results:
When the list scrolls all the way down to the last bookmark, the "Down" arrow doesn't disappear but instead stays and hides the last bookmark.
Expected results:
The "Down" arrow should go away or the list should scroll down on more line.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Bookmarks & History' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
Hello,
I tried to reproduce your issue but I was unsuccessful.
Could you please answer some questions so we can investigate this further:
- Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
- Does this issue happen in the latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
- Does this issue happen when Firefox is in Troubleshoot Mode? Here's a link on how to enable it: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-troubleshoot-mode
Thank you.

I first noticed it after deleting some old bookmarks from the list.
I have never used troubleshoot mode.
I can provide a screen dump showing the problem.

I tried your nightly release and the problem still exists.
I would include a screen dump of the issue, if there was a way to do that here.

You can use the "Attach new file" button just above the first comment on this page.

The bookmark list is scrolled all the way down; the "Down Arrow" remains, hiding the last bookmark.
I'm using version 115.0b8, and it still exists.
I don't know what else to tell you about reproducing this bug.

It's this simple to reproduce:
Create a long list of bookmarks on the Bookmarks Menu, more than will display in a single screen.
Delete one or more of them, but not so many that scrolling is no longer required.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu and you will see the problem.
FIX:
Add one or more new bookmarks to the Bookmarks Menu.

I cannot reproduce the problem on Windows 11.
Do you have a multi monitor setup, or some particular setting for the window toolbar like "hide automatically"?
What's your screen resolution?

I am running Windows 10 (upgrading is not an option without buying new hardware).
I do NOT have a multi-monitor setup.
The Taskbar is set up to hide automatically.
Screen resolution is 1600 x 900.
Note: I have about 10 sub-folders in my bookmarks list with 1 to about 8 bookmarks in each sub-folder.

Unfortunately I still cannot reproduce the problem, even if I set the taskbar to auto hide.
If you can reproduce the issue in a clean profile (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles) by just importing bookmarks from an html/json file, or creating random bookmarks, then it may be useful to run mozregression (https://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/) to find if this issue regressed "recently", using --good 100
argument for example.
If we cannot reproduce it, it becomes really hard for us to debug the problem.

As an Electrical Technician, I know what you mean about it being hard to reproduce someone else's problem.
This problem has become very inconsistent for me and I can't reproduce it reliably. I'm now on version 117.0 and the problem isn't showing up; In Version 116.0 it would appear once in awhile when I added or deleted bookmarks; in Version 115.x.x it was rarely seen; in version 114.x.x it was a constant.
Beginning with 114.x, I was having problems updating Firefox; that problem has since been resolved, and the cause was some administrative settings on my file system; I corrected them and can update normally now.
I'm going to assume, at this point, that there is just something about my computer settings that is, or was, causing this problem. It is not a major problem, as the hidden bookmark is not completely hidden and I can get to it when necessary. I don't want to risk losing my bookmarks and saved passwords by mucking around with the profile, as that would cause far more harm than this little problem.
Unless, and until, someone else reports this problem, in my opinion, just ignore it.

I'll resolve as incomplete as we don't have steps to easily enough reproduce and debug what's up.
Feel free to reopen if you find a way to more constantly cause this.
