User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021205 Chimera/0.6+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20021205 Chimera/0.6+
If you Import Bookmarks, the imported files are added to the History and to the
Autocomplete.
E.g: Favorites from MSIE and Bookmarks.xml from a previous Chimera.
file://etc will also display those 2 files.
Same remark if you are using an Ad/Popup/etc filter like ADGate 2.90, the page
is "cleaned" and some URLs are partly replaced by 127.0.0.1
Which will also be listed in History and Autocomplete.
Is it really usefull to show imported bookmarks and "cleaned" URLs ?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Expected Results:
Hide those "special" URLs and similar 'useless' ones.

Some that might perhaps be intercepted:
javascript:3+2
javascript:4+5
They will create 2 folders (3+2 and 4+5) in the history.

mozilla does the javascript:2+3 thing too. it's not specific to chimera. that
bug is in the history service.
i actually rely on being able to modify js urls from history so i hope this
isn't done wholesale (and yes, i know this is a chimera bug, but currently the
code is shared).

Is this still an issue?
The firts problem the reporter notes is no longer present. But I can't be sure
about the second issue. Could somebody have a look?
I don't see any javascript urls, and I know smfr spent some time last winter getting rid of other urls we shouldn't be showing, so closing this WFM based on that and comment 0. If anyone can come up with a reproducible testcase, feel free to reopen.
