Summary: PiP volume icon does not reflect mute/unmute state → PiP volume icon intermittently fails to reflect mute/unmute state under specific circumstances

On my Ubuntu 22 system (Beta v116.0b5), this issue reproduces about 1/3 of tries with these exact steps:

  1. Play any YT video.
  2. Launch PiP.
  3. Press DOWN ARROW until the volume is 0.
  4. Click the volume slider to raise volume to a random value.
Expected: The sound activates to the volume level chosen; the slider shows the expected slider position, the "Unmute" button changes to "Mute" button.
Actual: The sound does NOT activate; the slider DOES show the expected position, but the "Unmute" button does not change to "Mute".
