Note

  • The issue is also reproducible on Beta 115 if the media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.respect-disablePictureInPicture pref is set to true.

Found in

  • Firefox Nightly 116.0a1

Affected versions

  • Firefox Nightly 116.0a1
  • Firefox Beta 115.0b8

Affected platforms

  • Windows/Ubuntu/MacOS

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch the respective Screen Reader for the OS in use.
  2. Open the browser with a new profile.
  3. Navigate to this test page.
  4. Press the URL bar PiP toggle.

Expected result

  • The screenreader should read out the developer warning dialog as it pops up.

Actual result

  • The developer warning dialog isn't read. (something else is read instead)

Regression range

  • It is not a regression as the feature is new.

:pmagyari, if you think that's a regression, could you try to find a regression range using for example mozregression?
