Environment:
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 116.0a1 (2023-06-27) (64-bit)
Preconditions:
Clean profile
Steps to reproduce:
- Navigate to: https://www.twitch.tv/
- Select a stream and open it in fullscreen mode.
- Left-click on the gear icon ("Settings") from the video action bar.
- Select the "Popout Player" option.
- Observe the result.
Expected Behavior:
The stream is opened in a new window tab and continues to play.
Actual Behavior:
The stream stops and the newly opened window tab si not present in front.
Notes:
- Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
- Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
- Works as expected using Chrome.
- The stream is opened in a new window tab in the background and can be observed if the browser is closed/minimized.
- Reproduces if the video is not opened in fullscreen mode.

Verified this issue and could not reproduce it on Firefox versions 122 and 124.
Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Release 122.0 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 124.0a1 (2024-01-27) (64-bit)
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
