0. try to remember where the customize toolbar dialog was, try unsuccessfully to
find it in the menus where you would expect it
1. right click on toolbar, click customize
2. drag the scrollbar of the page in the background
3. be surprised that the page scrolls

Ok, this is a known issue, but I could not find a previous report on this one so
I can confirm this. But you should really read the bug writing guidelines at

See, while I did not read the guidelines (I did not know that they exist), I do
know the Mozilla ones... I did not know that Phoenix had a profile manager (I
thought it just supported one profile), so I did not try a new profile... Also,
this bug is untestable in Mozilla (due to lack of customize toolbar feature), so
I could not test there.

I did search for existing bug reports.

So tell me, what did I do wrong.

anyway, I won't file new phoenix bugs probably, because I am no longer using it.

Despite the bickering, this issue still exists in 0.6.1rc1. The question is,
does it affect customisation? Should it just be WONTFIX?

Reporter, can you still reproduce this bug in Firefox 10.0.2?

Please update to Firefox 10.0.2 or later, update your plugins, and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated version of Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

I can confirm that the issue still exists, but since the dialog was made non-modal in bug 206651, maybe this is just WONTFIX?

This will be fixed by bug 770135 since it will no longer be in a modal dialog, but another tab of the browser.

Seetu, we're going to hold off on fixing this and just wait for the work from Australis to replace the Customize Toolbar dialog (for Firefox). This bug may still exist with Seamonkey and/or Thunderbird, if you want to research them and file a similar bug for those products?
