I don't see a simple UI for that, since we have no 'Find Bookmark' Dialog.
Maybe a menuitem in the file menu 'New smart folder' or sth like that but I
would prefer to hide it by default. Maybe an extension would be more
appropriate? I could write it.
(as a consequence, moving to 0.7)

All functionality of the bookmarks search feature seems to be missing. Not only
can you not save queries, but you cannot use them either. This is different from
the problem that the reporter mentioned.

I've been irked by this for some months but have been too lazy to report it. I
used this to keep track of keyworded bookmarks. Here's a link to bookmark
shortcuts and test with: <a

This depends on bug #201019, but it isn't clear if that one has been solved
already. Please check this, as saved queries seem to work in FF1.0.
