Steps to reproduce:

Run the PC emulator demo below.

Actual results:

Demo runs, but is sluggish. It's most obvious with the audio. The demo runs smoothly in Edge.

Expected results:

Demo should run at normal speed.

Hmm. Testing on my M1 MacBook, I see about the same performance in Firefox as in Chrome (assuming the same web engine as Edge). Console reports 60 FPS in both. I'll need to dig out a windows machine to test there.
