I am willing to help, but with error messages as basic as these something is not
right and, like others, I am not prepared to spend to much of my time until
these sort of bugs are eliminated: it is you who are inviting me to update.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Load MOzilla,org v1.2
2.Select update message window
3.Clear error message and use current version

Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
Download new version
Not an enhancement.

I have v1,2 installed as a "developer". The message panel invites me to update
by downloading 1.2.1. This always results in a message that Windows/Temp cannot
find file jxxx (details not noted). Try agian or Contact Server

Probably target file is missing, and you see a bug 172215
Um.. You're using 1.2b. 1.2b has a bug with downloading files. It's
prominently listed in the 1.2b release notes.

Delete your compreg.dat file and restart mozilla and things should work fine..
