Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0

Steps to reproduce:

Open Firefox with MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1, navigate to Youtube, move the mouse around a bit.

Running FreeBSD 14-CURRENT with sway 1.8.1 using Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Navi 23 [Radeon RX 6600/6600 XT/6600M]

Actual results:

Firefox window disappears. Log shows:

Gdk-Message: 20:10:17.313: Lost connection to Wayland compositor.

Expected results:

Firefox should work as expected.
Other wayland applications work as expected. When using Xwayland (without MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND), firefox does work correctly.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Networking' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Happy to help debug this, I realise there probably aren’t many similar configurations out there.
