Environment:
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 117.0a1 (2023-07-11) (64-bit)

Preconditions:
Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://www.investopedia.com/
  2. Hover over the "Investing" section located in the top menu bar.
  3. Click on "Market".
  4. Observe the loading time.

Expected Behavior:
The loading time is the same as in Chrome and the usage of resources is normal.

Actual Behavior:
The loading time is more significant compared to Chrome and the usage of resources is higher.

Notes:

  • Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  • Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
  • Works as expected using Chrome.
  • Reproducible for other sections.

Verified this issue and could not reproduce it on Firefox versions 122 and 124.
