User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0

Steps to reproduce:

Windows Graphic setting to firefox run on Intel iGPU device only, then using webbrowser as usual.

Actual results:

include Text box Input and webpage wheel scrolls, all the web browsing behavior are Micro stutter.. or much like 'Periodically Delayed or hang' state

setting same as Nvidia dGPU for Test & check, confirm not happen on Nvidia dGPU.

Expected results:

Windows 11 22H2 (22621.1992)
Firefox 115.0.2
Intel UHD Graphics 770 (31.0.101.4502 DCH) (128MB/32GB)
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 (536.40 DCH) (8GB/32GB)

*4K 144Hz Display with
Hardware accelerated gpu scheduling On,
VRR(Variable Refresh Rate) On,
AutoHDR On
in Windows
Resizable Bar On

i'd try to seek simmilar bug from lists and found two (1583881) and (1715317), but not sure this issue is same thing with those.
(my only especial enviroment diffrent with others are VRR support display with VRR turn on from Windows 11)

try test same thing in Microsoft Edge and simmilar delay issue happen only in Intel iGPU, not the nvidia dGPU.
this might be they're driver issue, or windows side issue but i'm not sure so post in here.

Windows 10 and Windows 11 got Graphic setting to add (both UWP and W32) application in a list to bind specific graphic device on application to force using certain GPU
(windows 10 show iGPU power save/dGPU high perf, windows 11 show much specific device name to choose)

those kind method are common in laptop(for power saving at most of apps then only certain app to force run on dGPU), now windows 11 seems totally suggest to divide GPU usage in each apps on desktop too(for some lads dump all the misc base apps to iGPU for saving narrow and limited dGPU VRAM on Heavy apps, or just leave everything to choose by windows self)

i'm totally stuck at how to found root of causing this issue, only i know is this isn't iGPU's HW performence issue.

so hope to someone check the attached video file then test some different enviorment to found what's cause this issue.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Graphics: WebRender' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Graphics: WebRender
Product: Firefox → Core

btw for Testing trough that options, Application must close-excute for apply that device changes.
firefox or other browser is okay to just off and on but Microsoft Edge will still on background when close it, so have to force off edge process for test on Web Browsers that not close completly like Microsoft edge.

Could you please attach the output of your about:support page to this report when you get a chance?

copy to clipboard seems show it as translated language, not the english.

raw data is okay with this?

if it's not enough, i'll copy paste again for it.

Confirm it's happen same issue in Discord(Proton base that using chromium)
[have to add both Discord.exe and update.exe to manually allocate using intel iGPU)

not like issue consistantly happen on web browsers, Discord somehow it happen sometimes that only in certain conditions that i couldn't check.
scroll on channel or gif/sticker/emoji tab stutter at certain condition but i'm a not a developer so couldn't debug this.

sure this is not the firefox issue that Intel's iGPU driver side global issues.
even if i report in to discord developers, they won't debug this issue and only can do is issue confirm.

cause of this issues, even a videos that enough possible to handle accelate decode from intel iGPU got stuttery either.

this bug article should move to Intel support site?
in my experience, i'm not sure this issue add in they're list by just post in they're forum.

if Intel Engineer in here, hope to deliver it on driver team seek the cause of issue.
