it's quite annoying to get a mail notification every time a junkmail message is
filtered into the trash folder. it would be better if I could add to the "trash"
rules I write a "don't notify" action, which would prevent the mail notification
when this rule applies.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
I would amend this to an RFE for a "Don't Notify" checkbox for *every* filter.
For example, I get a dozen or so subscription messages every day from places like
ComputerWorld (can't like without my "Daily Shark") and I filter them into
folders. Those messages come in at all times of the day, but I don't care about
them except when I read them with my morning coffee - why notify me about things
with absolutely no urgency to them ?

I wish I wouldn't be notified on the arrival of junk mails. This would be a very
nice feature since I get 80% spam-mails ( I am sure I am not the only one ) and
don't want to even know about it.
