Status message like “{8} hidden” that is included in the filter input field area when a filter query is typed in is not communicated to a screen reader user, unless they 1) exit Forms mode (i.e. Ins+Space by default on NVDA) and continue explore the input field in the Browse/Read All mode which is not an expected behavior. Refocusing the filter input does not announce this status/results message as well. (role=status?)
