Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 117.0a1 (2023-07-19) (64-bit)

Preconditions:
Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to: https://signup.live.com/signup
2. Proceed with the account creation process by entering the requested valid data.
3. Reach the "Verify email" part of the process.
4. Observe the option below the input code field.

Expected Behavior:
The option is not checked.

Actual Behavior:
The option is checked by default.

Notes:

• Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
• Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
• Works as expected using Chrome.

Verified this issue and could not reproduce it on Firefox versions 122 and 124.
