Environment:
Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 117.0a1 (2023-07-20) (64-bit)
Preconditions:
Clean profile
A previous attempt to translate an image was successfully made
Steps to reproduce:
- Navigate to: https://translate.google.com/?sl=en&tl=es&op=images
- Click on the "Images" tab.
- Click on the "Browser your computer" button and upload an image with text.
- Observe the result.
Expected Behavior:
The operation is performed quickly.
Actual Behavior:
The operation takes a considerable amount of time to finish.
Notes:
- Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
- Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
- Works as expected using Chrome.
- Performance profile attached: https://share.firefox.dev/46ZlaF3
- Reproducible 5/10 times in a clean profile once a previous similar operation was performed

Same issue on mobile, it takes a few minutes to load/translate.

Verified this issue and could not reproduce it on Firefox versions 122 and 124.
Environment:
Operating system: OnePlus 6 A6000 (Android 11) / Windows 10
Firefox version: Nightly 124.0a1-20240201095346 / Release 122.0.1-20240129192822 | Nightly 124.0a1 (2024-02-01) / Release 122
