Firefox version: Nightly 118.0a1 (2023-08-05)
Precondition: must be logged in
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to https://www.pinterest.com
- Click on the messages icon located in the header.
- Click on the search bar located in the pop-up menu.
- Observe the message box located at the bottom of the pop-up menu.
Expected Behaviour:
The message box is displayed correctly.
Actual Behaviour:
The message box is larger and the placeholder text is misaligned.
Notes:
- Screenshot provided
- Reproducible on Firefox Release as well
- Not reproducible on Chrome
- Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing

Verified this issue and it's still reproducible on Firefox versions 122 and 124.
Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Browsers: Firefox Nightly 124.0a1 (2024-02-11) / Firefox Release 122 / Chrome 121.0.6167.86
Note: Not reproducible on Chrome

Verified this issue and still reproduces on Firefox 122, 123 and 124.
Tested with:
