Steps to reproduce:

• search for something through Firefox address bar
• do a follow up search by selecting the search field on Google’s search results page

Expected Result

• I can type and search for a new term

Actual Result

• It automatically selects the first recommendation for the terms I previously searched which triggers a new search and refreshes the page.

Work around

• Don’t use search box on google search result page. Use address bar of Firefox.

This has also been reproduced by :vpomerleau too on her iOS device.
