Preconditions

Have an Android 6 device.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Fenix, and open https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input/time webpage or https://learn.microsoft.com/ro-ro/samples/azure/azure-sdk-for-python/azure-app-configuration-provider-library-python-samples/.
2. Open the 3dot menu and tap on "Print" option.
3. Observe the behavior.

Expected behavior

The Print preview page is displayed.

Actual behavior

Fenix crashes.

Device information

• Firefox version: Nightly 118.0a1 from 8/9
• Android device model: Sony Xperia , OnePlus A3000
• Android OS version: Android 6.0.1, Android 6

This issue is still reproducible with the latest Nightly build (118.0a1 from 2023-08-17).

Fenix still crashes when trying to display the Print preview page.

Device used: LG Nexus 5 (Android 6.0.1)

Hi, thank you for verifying! Could you verify again later today or tomorrow once the GV version increments? GeckoView to Android has a slight delay from landing in mozilla-central before making the Android published build.

The bug fix should be present in GV 118.0a1 20230816215210 or later and the video shows GV: 118.0a1-20230816094547, which is the last version of GV without the patch.

Hi, yes, I rechecked on today's Nightly (118.0a1 from 2023-08-18) and the crash doesn't happen anymore.
The Print preview page is displayed correctly.

Devices used:

• LG Nexus 5 (Android 6.0.1).
• OnePlus A3000 (Android 6).

Closing the ticket as fixed and marking it as verified.
