This also applyes when trying to send mails througt smtp. However, if i insert the mail server domain in the 'No proxy for:' field, there are no problems, with connect to imap, or smtp servers. I have not testet this with pop3. I use squid as proxy server, and have masqueraded port 25 and 143 with iptables. I 'm running debian woody, running kernel 1.4.19 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set mozilla up tu use a manully proxy server. 2. Try to send and reseave e-mails 3. Actual Results: I get the error: Server refused the connection Expected Results: Allowed me to get my mails even through i use a proxy server?
Do you set incorrectly a socks proxy inside your manual proxy configuration ?

verified wfm with trunk builds 2003-01-03-08 with an internal socks proxy v5 server and mail accounts (listing 'no proxy for').
