Preconditions:
Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to : https://www.yahoo.com/?guccounter=1
  2. Scroll the page until you've reached the "Trending Now" section.
  3. Side-scroll the section.
  4. Observe the result.

Expected Behavior:
Scrolling does not trigger a scrollbar on the bottom

Actual Behavior:
A scrollbar is present at the bottom of the page

Notes:

  • Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release
  • Works as expected using Chrome
  • Screenshot attached
  • Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing

Verified this issue and still reproduces on Firefox 122 and 124.
