Preconditions:
Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to : https://m.facebook.com/?wtsid=rdr_07lVWpBHEvsNZVzof
  2. Perform account login and save the credentials.
  3. Access the main page and perform account log-out.
  4. Once redirected to the login page, make sure the saved credentials are shown.
  5. Observe the password input field once on the login page.

Expected Behavior:
The "Show Password" button is present

Actual Behavior:
The "Show Password" button is missing

Notes:

  • Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release
  • Works as expected using Chrome and Opera
  • Screenrec attached
  • Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing
  • Reproducible best with Autofill Credentials feature
  • Deleting a char from the password field shows the button

Verified this issue and it's still reproducible on Firefox versions 122 and 124.

Note: Not reproducible on Chrome
