I navigated to a "analysis not available" item on Amazon.com and triggered the review analysis. The sidebar updated correctly when the analysis was complete, but when I press the Back button (returning to the Amazon home page), then the Forward button (to get back to the item page), the sidebar shows "Analysis coming soon". Refreshing the page doesn't cause it to update and show the completed analysis. Closing the sidebar and reopening it didn't show the completed analysis, either.

:bthrall -- do you recall the product you saw this with?

I saw it in Firefox Nightly

sorry, the amazon product / URL

I don't remember what item I originally discovered this on, so I tried again with this book.

With the latest Nightly, the experience is slightly different:

  1. I triggered the analysis from the sidebar
  2. When the analysis was complete, the sidebar updated correctly.
  3. When I press Back and then Forward, the sidebar says "Checking review quality" and shows the same spinner it showed while waiting for the original analysis. The wording and spinner are what is different from my previous experience; this seems like a similar state to the "Analysis coming soon". Meanwhile, the Amazon page shows a 3/5 star and "C" Fakespot rating.
  4. The spinner never stops and the sidebar never shows the analysis results. (I waited an hour)

Refreshing the page does cause the sidebar to show the analysis results, now.

The severity field is not set for this bug.
:jhirsch, could you have a look please?
