Resizing Mozilla's Sidebar and Mail Folder View should be smoothely like
Netscape's 7 sidebar under Windows.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Resize one of the Components mentioned above

Actual Results:  
A bad feeling :-( Because the whole Mozilla UI appeares to be so very slow if
you see the Sidebar just very slow resized. Netscape 7 for Windows appears to be
faster at this point.

Expected Results:  
The UI should react faster.

This happens because of a patch added for bug #91662.  That patch attempts to
optimally resize all the mail panes to minimise problems caused by the message
header, and this causes the performance problem you are seeing.  Bug #91662 is
reopened because the patch doesn't completely fix the problem, and it may be
worth you taking a look at that bug.
