Preconditions:
• must be logged in
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to https://www.youtube.com
- Access any video.
- Observe the buttons below the video.
Expected Behaviour:
The "Download" option is displayed on the page.
Actual Behaviour:
The "Download" option is missing from the page.
Notes:
- Screenshot provided
- Reproducible on Firefox Release as well
- Not reproducible on Chrome and Edge
- Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing

Verified this issue and still reproduces on Firefox 122 and 124.
Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Release 122.0.1 (64-bit)/ Firefox Nightly 124.0a1 (2024-02-17) (64-bit) / Chrome Version 121.0.6167.161 (Official Build) (64-bit)

FWIW, the button is displayed for me in Firefox if I log in with a premium account (download is a premium feature).
When I log in with a regular account, the button is not displayed in Firefox, but shows up if I spoof the UA to Chrome's.
We can contact youtube to see if they can show the button for non premium accounts in Firefox.
