I think the readability of the graphs could be improved by making the individual plot points smaller, maybe half the radius. This would reduce overlap and crowding.
Modern screens are high-resolution enough that we can differentiate circles from squares even at smaller sizes.

Hey :markus, we're looking at this bug but we wanted to get an idea of what your use case was when you felt that the points were too large and the graph being crowded

I think the screenshot is pretty clear. With less overlap it would be easier to see the details.
