Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 I have first installed 1.2.0 over 1.1 and it worked fine and then I installed 1.2.1 over it and then my mozilla acts strange ;( It doesn't want to open new windows ;( ... that is realy bad, because I can't send new mails (that is new window too) or even open mail window when the browser window is open first .... If I open the mail window first, then I can read mail, but I can not do anything else ... the numners in the Menu/window do apera, but the window is not there ... So I have unistalled it and tried again, it didn't work and I installed 1.1 over it ... the same problem continues ;( Then 1.2.1 over it , nothing works ... I need my mozilla and the data in my contacts (I can't export it (that is a new window too ;( ) ... I use Phoenix for browsing now (nice too), but I miss my mail client and my bookmarks .... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open mozilla browser 2.Click on the mail icon 3. The mail window doesn't apear ?? only the number in the Menu/window apears and I can't do nothing with it (can not switch to that window - the name of the window is not written, only the numner is there) ... Actual Results: No new windows Expected Results: Gimme new windows ;)
Reporter: Please close mozilla (inclusind quicklaunch) and find your Mozilla-User Profile (located in your OS user directory). delete all file in profile/Chrome/*.* (you will loose additional Themes) after that restart mozilla. If you still get the problem delete this files: profile/xul.mfl c:\programs..\mozilla.org\mozilla\components\compreg.dat if it works tell me which step solved the problem.
First one helped ;) Thanks .. now I can use my absoulely favorite browser again ...
This can happend again but we know about problems with the fastload file and a develper is working on that. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 184538 ***
