Steps to reproduce:
Firefox must be set as the system default browser.
Open a link provided on GMail or X (or any app that allows in-app browser)
You switch to any other app and stay there for a few seconds.
Return to the website opened inside GMail or X.
Actual results:
The first time the link is opened, it works as expected and without any issues, the problem happens when coming back from another app, then the website is not shown at all. Only a black canvas is shown.
Reloading the website doesn't work, neither trying to open the website in the Firefox app, independently.
Expected results:
The website should still be shown regardless of how many times you exit. It should also work to see the website if it's opened on the Firefox app.
(Previously [1-2 months ago] I didn't have this problem on Firefox for Android)

Hi, thanks for reporting. I was not able to reproduce the issue described on Firefox RC117.1.0 and on the latest nightly (119.0a1 from 25.09.2023) with Google Pixel 7 PRO (Android 14) and Motorola Moto G9 plus (Android 11).
In order to further look into the issue you're experiencing, could you please provide the following additional information?
- Details regarding the Device used OS,
- Video recording of the issue;
Thanks!
