Currently we check in with MLS on every app launch and foreground while the user is on the home screen. This is causing a large amount of requests to MLS.

Would this only affect the homepage location result? Or is it also used in other contexts? (e.g. websites that use location services? -- I imagine not, because I imagine those come from onboard system geolocation services, rather than through MLS, but I just want to be sure)
