User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Pretty simple request. When a page loads and one or more images fail to load I would like a way to attempt to reload the image without reloading the whole page or selecting view image which opens the image in the current window. It would also be useful when an image loads okay, for images that change over time, or if it has been cached and you want to check it is the latest version. I think this mostly applies to web developers. I did do a bug search and found nothing on this issue but my appologies if it is a duplicate. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load a page with a broken image 2. Right click on image Actual Results: No option to reload / retry Expected Results: Given option to reload / retry image

why did you do that? I have editbug privilege, but I want posters to get into habits of tracking their own bugs. Reporter, if you agree w/ the resolution, please change status to VERIFIED
because I know, that less than 1% of them will EVER come back.

Status: RESOLVED → VERIFIED
Make this < 1% then. I do not agree it is a duplicate of that bug, which I have already read. If you could group them, or attatch this to the other I would agree that they are similar and that the solutions can be the same, but marking as a duplicate would probably lead to this one being ignored.
Summary of that bug has been updated. Are you happy now?
If you insist on doing things this way.
'Tis often better when a single patch will provide solutions to multiple problems to have only one bug to match the patch. One need not be the reporter to add a comment to a bug. You could even vote for bugs you consider important. Note also that, unlike this, that bug is multiplatform/multiOS.
The other bug doesn't mention it should apply to broken images as well as showing blocked images and reloading images. And I do notice that the other bug has been outstanding for over 2 years. Hopefully this bug will show up in searches similar to what I did and will provide a link to the other one.

Comments about other bugs are pointlessly moot here. If you think there's something wrong with the open bug, comment there.
