Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/116.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Adding New Event
- Click "New Event" in the calendar sidebar
- Fill in any desired details and add more attendees to the event than self
- Leave "Notify Attendees" enabled
- Click "Save and close"
Editing Existing Event
- Right click event in calendar
- Select either editing option of all or just this occurrence
- Modify details and leave "Notify attendees" enabled
- Save and close
Actual results:
Event instance is added to local calendar. An auto-acceptance email is sent for self on the event, appearing in Inbox and Sent.
No email notifications are sent to attendees. When editing an existing event made prior to 115.0.1, update notifications are also not sent to event attendees. Issue still persists in 115.2.3 .
Expected results:
In addition to the event being added to the local calendar, email invites should be sent to added attendees. On edit, update notifications should be sent to attendees.
