User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021207 Phoenix/0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021207 Phoenix/0.5 The javascript menus at http://www.palmsource.com/developers/ sometimes stop responding, and not because Phoenix is trying to load the page. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1) At http://www.palmsource.com/developers/ hover the mouse over "Documentation" on the right. 2) In the menu that unfolds, click on "Palm OS 5 Development". 3) Intermittently, this will stop the menus from responding, even when Phoenix isn't trying to load the page. When Phoenix *is* trying to load the page, the progress bar can be seen in the lower right. So when this problem occurs, there is *no* progress bar, and the menus are dead. 4) As I said, the problem is intermittent, so if it works properly, hit Back and try again. I seemed to be able to get it to happen more reliably if I clicked outside the text label, but still within the menu square (ie. when the mouse changes from an insertion point to an arrow). 5) When the problem shows, a Reload causes the menus to start working again. ~gb Actual Results: Menus stop responding Expected Results: Menus should continue to respond
I couldn't reproduce this at all, also using Phoenix 0.5 on my debian sid system. I tried about 30 times, clicking on various parts of the menu item. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021207 Phoenix/0.5
I (the originator) am unable to reproduce this in the Windows version of Phoenix 0.5.... Maybe some info about my Linux system is in order. Its a RH7.1 system on an Athlon Thunderbird (1GHz) processor.
