Note

  • This issue is noticeable when the user launches PiP in a Linux+Wayland session.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Access a [Youtube video]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRkr-a0f7ys) where subtitles/CC are available
  3. Turn on subtitles/CC and launch the video in PiP
  4. Minimized the main browser window

Expected result

  • The subtitles are still displayed in the PiP window while the video is played-back.

Actual result

  • The subtitles freeze in the PiP window.
