Operating System: Windows 10 PRO x64
Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 120.0a1 (2023-10-05)

Preconditions:
Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to : https://www.target.com/
  2. Observe the search bar.

Expected Behavior:
The "Voice" search option is present.

Actual Behavior:
The "Voice" search option is missing.

Notes:

  • Reproducible regardless of the status of ETP.
  • Reproducible on the latest build of Firefox Nightly and Release.
  • Works as expected using Chrome.
  • Screenshot attached
  • Issue found during WebCompat team [Top100] websites testing

Verified this issue and it's still reproducible on Firefox versions 122 and 125.

Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Browsers: Firefox Nightly 125.0a1 (2024-02-19) / Firefox Release 122 / Chrome 121.0.6167.185

Note: Not reproducible on Chrome

This is probably just them feature-detecting the speech recognition API, so this would be bug 1856507. Let's confirm, though.
