Affected versions

  • Beta 119.0b6
  • Nightly 120.0a1 (2023-10-09)

Affected platforms

  • Windows

Preconditions:
Set the browser.shopping.experience2023.enabled - TRUE
Set the browser.shopping.experience2023.optedIn - 0
Enable NVDA.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Reach amazon.com and open any supported Product details page
  2. Use the Down arrow keys to reach the "Using the power of Fakespot by Mozilla, we help you avoid biased and inauthentic reviews. Our AI model is always improving to protect you as you shop. Learn more" text
  3. Use the Down arrow keys to reach the "By selecting “Yes, try it“ you agree to Fakespot by Mozilla’s privacy policy and terms of use."

Expected result

  • NVDA should not say that the text is clickable, only when the user reaches the Learn More link NVDA should say its clickable.

Actual result

  • The NVDA will say that the text is clickable but if we use the Space or Enter bar while we are on the Text nothing happens.
Hitting the Down key again will not reach the Learn More link because its already being read with the rest of the text, instead its reaching the second paragraph that is also mentioned as clickable.
When we reach those links with the Tab key it will directly jump to the link and the user can click the links, but if he reaches them using the arrow key, the entire text is clicked not the Learn more link or the other links.

Regression range
Not Applicable

:rdoghi, if you think that's a regression, could you try to find a regression range using for example mozregression?
