Steps to reproduce:
I was a user of the Firefox Translations extension. I contributed and participated in many issues related to that project. I use full page Norwegian Bokmal -> English translations every day.
My Firefox upgraded today, and the extension has disappeared, so it's no longer a handy button, it's hidden behind a menu. Okay, I can deal with that.
But, it appears I can no longer translate full pages from Norwegian. I can use the little drop down button and translate Norwegian snippets of text, but not full pages.
Actual results:
I can't full-page translate Norwegian pages any more. This strongly impacts my ability to do what I need to do, which is why I participated in the extension project to begin with. Now I have to go back to Google Translate, which I hate.
Expected results:
I should be able to translate pages, as I have been doing for the past year.

The Norwegian model isn't enabled yet in the built-in version because we weren't sure if its quality was high enough. How have you found it yourself? Is it translating well?
We could add an option to enable loading any model.

It's not perfect, but it's perfectly acceptable for some purposes, website navigation, stuff like that. (There are occasionally some very funny mis-translations as well!)
I get that you might not want to expose it to everybody, but I actually really do need it. I don't care if you hide it in an about:config or whatever, just let me accept the risk and go back to using that model.

After bug 1859555 is fixed, you will be able to use the Nightly version with all work-in-progress models.

Hi Rich,
I've uploaded all of the Translations models to Nightly and closed Bug 1859555.
You should now be able to see all of our available models in Firefox Nightly.
We will continue to make models available in the Release version of Firefox after we determine that the quality of the Translations model is good enough for release.
I'm going to close this bug as FIXED for now. Please feel free to comment further or re-open as needed.
