User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 There should be an option in the preferences to prefer tabs instead of new windows. So, for example, when anything happens that would normally open a new window, it does it in a tab instead. You can also switch them, so that where a tab would open a new window would. I use tabs all the time, and I hate having more than one browser window open. However, when click a link sometimes it opens in a new window and then i have to close that window and click again with ctrl to use a tab. Additionally, it would be nice to have some tab management options. How about being able to move a tab left or right? Or, in the Window menu maybe an option "Move to tab for Window..." which opens a sub menu of available menus to put this page in as a tab. Finally, is it possible to put the MailNews, ChatZilla, etc as tabs? This coupled with more seperated and movable toolbars would create a very amazing application. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Click a link that opens in a new window Want it to open in a new tab instead (remember, this is for links you dont know will open new windows, or javascript opened windows) Actual Results: it opens a window. Expected Results: Should open a tab if you like those better.
