User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/118.0
Steps to reproduce:
I use a different alias of the same subdomain (for example, mailTo:s2qwc0+s2qwc8@RokeJulianLockhart.AnonAddy.com) for a myriad of non-privacy reasons, but this doesn't appear to be supported by Bugzilla, because I need to specify a different address to use for Gravatar to the non-primary one of my account.
Actual results:
I've no avatar at https://linksta.cc/going/9662?https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/user_profile?user_id=691781 despite having an avatar at https://dub.sh/s1hsiw.
Expected results:
I should be able to designate one of my account's e-mail addresses solely for avatar acquisition purposes by specifying the service it should correspond to, in this case Gravatar (or Libravatar if present).
Moving to the bugzilla.mozilla.org
component as this bug references BMO directly.
While we recognise your use-case, the complexity and work around adding a gravatar-only email address isn't outweighed by the gains.

...On what basis? I've used a lot of software that provides this feature. Why not Bugzilla?

Weighing intimate knowledge of the work required to implement and maintain this in Bugzilla against the demand for this feature (this is the only request after 10+ years of Gravatar support) and that workaround exist (use the same email address on both systems).
As we lack unlimited resources we cannot implement every feature request.

That would be years worth of work to undo for no merit except a synchronized avatar. That's not a workaround that's possible for me anyway, because I'm targeted by a fair few spam campaigns per month.

Yes, but why close the issue because of that?

To capture the decision that we aren't going to make this change.
