Calender entries are now ( TB 115.4.1) finally sent to invites again but a cancellation is sent to the invites AND the organizer. It should only be sent to the invited people but not to the organizer itself.

Why would a cancellation not be sent to the Organizer? How would the organizer then know about the cancellation?
In this case (the bug I reported with id=1847658) the organizer is the one cancelling the event by deleting it from his own calendar. That is how he would now about it and should not need a notification mail about his own cancellation. This action should sent out a cancellation mail to all invited attends but not to the organizer himself.

We do try not to do that: https://searchfox.org/comm-central/rev/7d307487e5768552866416f03f859f8cabf47849/calendar/itip/CalItipMessageSender.jsm#341
In the calendar properties, is the address set up correctly?
Yes, the address is set correctly. Not sure how the setup could even be wrong here...
Konrad
Changing such an event (done by the organizer) works OK. Only the real recipients get the change notification. But deleting it (again done be the organizer) causes the notification mail to be sent to the invites AND the organizer itself.
