This feature is developed behind the layout.css.gradient-color-interpolation-method.enabled
pref which is disabled by default right now, because the rendering part is not complete currently.
Once complete, this feature should be enabled by default.

There is an r+ patch which didn't land and no activity in this bug for 2 weeks.
:tlouw, could you have a look please?
If you still have some work to do, you can add an action "Plan Changes" in Phabricator.

With bug 1885716 landed, this can now also be landed. Will do when I'm back online.

Given that the patch is just trivially relaxing a nightly-only restriction and the soft code freeze for this nightly cycle is tomorrow, I'll go ahead and hit the button on lando on your behalf, so that this makes it in for this cycle (in time for the nightly-only restriction-lifting to make a difference in the 127 release cycle).
