Steps to reproduce:

I connect a Google Calendar in my Gmail account to Thunderbird as described in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1304356#answer-1368791 or in https://support.mozilla.org/ru/kb/sozdanie-novyh-kalendarej#w_v-seti-podkliuchenie-k-onlain-kalendariam

I don't use any external plugin to connect the Google calendars.

Actual results:

I can view and edit my Google Calendars (Family, Holidays etc) but I cannot view and edit my Google Tasks. I can save tasks in Thunderbird only to my local calendar but not to the attached Google calendar.

Expected results:

I expect that I should be able to work both with Google calendars and Google tasks from Thunderbird.

Unfortunately using the Provider for Google Calendar add-on is not an option because the plugin a) has problems with adding meeting invitations from E-mails and b) its synchronization is buggy, please see https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/provider-for-google-calendar/reviews/1172614/ for details.

We can't support tasks over CalDAV as google does not support it.
