Tracking bug for bugs related to support for light and dark modes (color scheme)

Sorry if this is a silly question, but if using System Theme (allow device to choose between light or dark mode) -- or using Dark Mode -- the browser UI for Firefox (the top bar including search, menu bar, tabs, etc.) does not have any changes applied to it. I believe this is intentional since in the settings, even the graphic shows the main area of the screen as having a "dark" theme applied while the top browser chrome remains in default/light state.

Has Firefox always worked this way? In Chrome or Edge, those elements are also affected when dark/device mode is chosen.
