User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 This doesn't apply to any specific page. I would like to be able to launch a second process of Mozilla or at least a second thread with its own private session information (ie cookies, history). This would allow me to view the same site in two different browser windows without worrying about messing up session information from one window to the other. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Find a site that uses cookies for keeping state 2. Open a browser window to that site and browse around a bit 3. Open a second browser window to the same site and take a different path than the first window Actual Results: Usually this will result in the second window either sharing or destrying the session information from the first window. Expected Results: I would like to see the second window be completely independent of the first or at least be able to create a second independent window. A second independent tab would be even better, but a second independent window would work.
What happens if you actually start a second instance of Mozilla?
You can't because Mozilla will open only a new window *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 40109 ***
