The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::DOM: Web Authentication' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → DOM: Web Authentication
Product: Firefox → Core

There is a limitation in flatpak that prohibits the discovery of new devices, see bug 1827410.
So, if you plug in your yubikey before you start the whole process, it should work. If you wait for Firefox to prompt you to insert a device, it will not work.
