Hi,
If I understand this correctly, you mean you should be able to swipe to that single opened tab from the homepage, by swiping the address bar?
If not, please make a video of the behavior you described, or provide more details.
Thank you!

yes! i also noticed that this bug actually happens no matter the amount of tabs open... the error lies on user being unable to swipe when the opened tab is blank

I was not able to reproduce this issue, if these are the steps:
- Have 1 tab opened.
- Tap on the + icon to open a new tab, and open about:blank.
- Swipe between tabs.
Tested on Fenix Nightly 128.0a1 from 5/24 with Xiaomi Mi8 Lite (Android 10).
Please test on a more recent version of Firefox for Android, and provide us the exact steps to reproduce, and the device you're testing with.
Thank you!

I'll close this ticket as INCOMPLETE, since the user is inactive and QA was not able to reproduce.
Feel free to file a new bug if this is reproducible again.
using Firefox with a Galaxy S10e, Firefox version: 130.0.1
i have 42 tabs open,
if i open a new tab i can't use the scroll shortcut (swipe across the toolbar), it doesn't work
if i open an already opened tab, the feature works
i reported the bug on my, unfortunately, dead Samsung A7... same thing
If possible, do you mind updating to the most recent version of Firefox Nightly (132) and seeing if you can still reproduce this issue? Thanks
